Annual Lambeth Black History Lecture

This year's annual Lambeth Black History Lecture will take place at Brixton Library on Wednesday 10 December at 7.00 pm.

In this the 50th anniversary year of the first publication of The West Indian Gazette in Brixton, the subject will very appropriately be Claudia Jones.

We are delighted tro welcome Professor Carole Boyce Davies, Professor of Africana studies at Cornell University and a recent biographer of Claudia to give this lecture.

Dr. Boyce Davies will be speaking on Claudia Jones and the Black Intellectual Tradition

Tickets for the lecture are free but do need to be reserved in advance. Please see the attached publicity for more information and for details on how to book.
