28th May Meeting Summary

The first meeting for all the volunteers and friends of the project took place on the 28th June at 198 gallery. Fifteen volunteers and Clovis (Sam the Wheels) came to the meeting and we got to know each other by learning to use a video camera and interviewing each other about what we would like to do on the project. We watched the interviews back and discussed what did and didn't work in the interviews in terms of lighting and composition. We then teamed up in to pairs and created our user accounts for the website, and learnt how to make postings and blog entries. We also began to log clips of Clovis's footage - watching the films and writing summaries on the website of what the clips held. It was wonderful to meet everyone and to work together, and it was fascinating to watch Clovis's footage - I look forward to the next meeting!
