Clovis Salmon
Clovis Salmons' Super 8 footage has been the inspiration of this project. Being one of the 1950's settlers to the UK as a Pentecostal Minister he spent much of his time filming various services and celebrations in and around the church. His footage of the 1981 Brixton riots has also been vital in documenting the local reaction and opinions, capturing some unique pictures and interviews of the aftermath.
He now spends his days repairing bicycle wheels from his home in Railton Road, still known as the 'Front Line'.
He has been very active and supportive of this project providing much needed information and advice to the volunteer group and workshops.
